PETER NOWICKI is an IT/Tech recruiter in the Boston area who discovered Ron Paul in early 2006. Previously a Democrat, he is currently disillusioned with both parties and strongly feels that Ron Paul is the only candidate who can help us weather the coming financial and political storms. Peter’s hobbies include sailing, snowboarding, hiking, photography, writing and endless research on far too many subjects (at least in his wife’s opinion).

CORIE WHALEN is an undergraduate student who currently resides in Boston and attends Simmons College. A political independent, Corie identifies with Ron Paul primarily because he is a Constitutionalist as well as an advocate of small government. Corie is a political science major and hopes to attend law school after college. Outside of politics and history, she enjoys reading and writing poetry, spending time in Boston and New York City with friends, and loves being outdoors.

SUSAN MOJICA is the mother of two grown children and has been foster mom to a man with special needs for sixteen years. She is a long-time constitution watcher, especially that of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where she has lived for some thirty years. She sees a Ron Paul presidency as a long-overdue step in the right direction and hopes for more and more debate and discussion about the roots that we as a nation have all but forgotten. Other interests include reading, writing poetry and continuing to support her children’s now higher education.

MICHAEL CASEY is a 21 year-old student at Northeastern University in Boston. He is originally from Connecticut and maintains a life-long interest in politics. He has been a fan of Ron Paul since before the he began his bid for the White House and is currently active in the campaign in Boston and New Hampshire. When Michael is not doing activities for Ron Paul, his interests include running, hiking, kayaking, watchingsports (particularly baseball & basketball) and hanging out with friends.

We believe Ron Paul is not only electable, but the only real chance we have for true change in this country. Our goal is to make The Beacon a top Ron Paul blog and leverage this to help him win the Republican primaries and then get elected President of the United States in 2008.
