Our Goal

To help raise awareness of the Ron Paul among Generation Y and secure the young vote for his 2008 Presidential Campaign, we are raising money to launch a series of Facebook Flyer campaigns this Fall. A “flyer” (meaning a single view of the ad by a Facebook user) costs 1/5 of a cent. Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase at least 100,000 flyers ($200) per campaign and to complete 10 campaigns by the end of the year, for a total of one million flyers! Each campaign will target a specific college network on Facebook, and with a goal of 5 exposures (flyers) per network member we can reach 200,000 college students in New England!  There is also a Pro version we will be trying which only charges us when someone clicks on the flyer.

Since we don’t want to take donations away from the official campaign, we suggest that you first donate at least $25 to the campaign directly. The campaign raised over $5 million in Q3, but they need to more than double this number next quarter to compete with the “top-tier” candidates.

If (after making your campaign contribution) you can spare $10, we would love it if you sponsored 5000 flyers by clicking our ChipIn widget to the right >>

How It Will Work

When students click on our flyers (a sample flyer is posted to the right) they will be directed to a special page on this site where they can learn about Ron Paul and the issues he represents, then access information about how to vote for Ron Paul in Republican Primaries and Caucuses around the country. We will be tracking the results of the campaign with Google Analytics and then post the results on this page.

Our first campaign began on October 6. Due to the recent primary rules changes in NH, we started with UNH (where most students are NH residents) and a few other New Hampshire schools so we can get new voters registered by the October 12th deadline!
