Urgent Information About The New Hampshire Primary!

Thank you for your support, it is critical right now! If you find Ron Paul’s message appealing or if you simply want to help end the Iraq War, we need your help. Ron Paul can and must win the Republican primaries (especially in NH), because none of the anti-war Democrats have a shot at beating Hillary or Obama. The Republican “top-tier” candidates are much weaker and losing momentum as we speak.

The deadline for registering to vote in the NH Primary is October 12, only a few days from today. If you are already registered with the Republican Party OR if you are an “undeclared voter” then you don’t need to act just yet, so please skip to the “What Next?” section below. Otherwise, read on!

Voter Registration Information for NH Residents

The New Hampshire Secretary of State’s has an excellent informational page at www.sos.nh.gov/vote.htm, please share it with other students who are NH residents. The easiest way is to apply to your town or city clerk’s office (you may register in either your hometown or in your college town). A list of NH City & Town Clerks can be found at www.sos.nh.gov/clerks.htm. Please remember that you MUST register by Friday, October 12 as either a Republican or as an “undeclared voter” if you want to reserve the right to vote in the Republican Primaries.

Voter Registration Information for Out-of-State Students

If your hometown is not in NH, you may register in either your OR in the NH city/town where you currently live, but not both. See this PDF Document for more information about College Student Voting.

If you plan on registering in your hometown, the RonPaul2008.com website has a Primary and Caucus Information Page where you can find links to the Secretary of State’s Elections Division website for your home state. Voter registration dates and rules vary by state, so you may have some additional time, but please don’t delay! Many states have moved up their deadlines this year.

Due to the importance of the New Hampshire Primary, however, we strongly recommend that you register in NH.

What Next?

Ron Paul’s campaign has taken off in a big way because he has more volunteers than almost any other candidate! We hope that you will not only vote for him but also join the cause. The Ron Paul 2008 Campaign Website is a great place to start. We also have some great information on this site! We recommend:

  1. If you are new to Ron Paul start with our Ron Paul Primer. There you will find an overview of his positions and a short list of things you can do to learn more or spread the word. We also suggest checking out the link in the “Get Involved” section in the right-hand column of this website.
  2. Check out the free videos in the “Required Viewing” section in the right-hand column of this website. The excellent 2005 documentary Why We Fight is an eye-opening film about why the US is caught in a cycle of perpetual warfare and what we can do about it.
  3. Read our blog posts! If you are concerned that you might be wasting your vote on Ron Paul, you should read “Why ‘Ron Paul Can’t Win’ Won’t Last.”
  4. Lastly, if you would like to help us reach other students, please consider chipping in $5 or $10 to help us with our Facebook Flyer campaign!
