2011 has already seen various top songs make their way into our favorites lists but is it time to look forward to what we can expect in the next year or so? We think so.
Some Truly Revolutionary New Music
It sometimes seems that with every passing year more and more styles and genres are brought to us. If you compare 2011 with any year from, say, the 1980s or 1990s it is obvious that the division of well-liked music has brought us to a degree where there are a large number of styles to pick from. What will 2012 become based on? We don’t know yet, but there is some rumors going around that Usher is planning on starting a new music revolution with his latest work. Apart from this, we can write off the chance of a totally new artist coming in from out of the cold and setting the world of music alight with something totally new and unique. How amazing would that be?
A change in the Music World
The divide of well-liked music into a number of streams which were mentioned at the start has of course meant that it’s no longer taken over by just one individual. In previous years, people like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Madonna could have all made claims to being the best artist in the whole world. In this day and age, nobody could really claim that title but could that change next year? If anybody can do it then maybe Lady Gaga is that person to do it. The newest Eminem music has been quite contradictory, but were all hoping that he can get back to his best and provide us all with something we can agree on as the best music in the world.
Old Favorites or Completely New Stars?
Would you want to see a familiarized face from in the past or would you rather see a completely new celebrity? The last couple of years have seen many newcomers come onto the scene and make a great impression and there is every possibility that the same thing could come about next year as well.
